Marathon County Head Start Centers

 

Zion Early Learning Center:

This center is located at 616 Grant Street in Wausau, Wisconsin and operates in the Wausau School District. Head Start has five preschool classrooms located at this center.

These classrooms are run part day and part year. Morning sessions run from 9:05 am to 12:35 pm and Afternoon sessions run from 12:35 pm to 4:05 pm on Monday through Thursday. Classes follow the Wausau school district schedule and operate from September through late May or early June.

Each classroom has a maximum of 17 children.

Mount Calvary Center:

This center is located at 503 Schmidt Avenue in Rothschild, Wisconsin and operates in the D.C. Everest School District. Head Start has one preschool classroom located at this center.

The Mount Calvary classroom is run part day and part year. Morning sessions run from 9:05 am to 12:35 pm and Afternoon sessions run from 12:35 pm to 4:05 pm on Monday through Thursday. Classes follow the D.C. Everest school district schedule and operate from September through late May or early June.

This classroom has a maximum of 16 children.

Mosinee Center:

This center is located at 607 13th Street in Mosinee, Wisconsin and operates in the Mosinee School District. Head Start has one preschool classroom located at this center.

The Mosinee classroom is run full day and full year. Class sessions run from 9 am to 4 pm on Monday through Friday. Classes run year round.

This classroom has a maximum of 20 children.

 

** We are unable to consider requests for class time or center locations if the program is providing transportation. Class time and location are determined by the child's address and bus routes. Children will be placed in the nearest center for transportation with an opening available. If the parent is willing or able to provide transportation, we will make every effort to honor a request for center location and class time.
